Welcome to Castle Bromwich Dental Care, led by principal dentists Dr Zulfikar Alam and Dr Ruhel Alam. Our friendly team provides a full range of private dental treatments, from routine check-ups to more complex care such as surgical extractions, root canal treatment, and dental implants. We also offer cosmetic options including teeth whitening, adult braces, and non-surgical facial aesthetics (Botox and fillers), all delivered with a focus on patient comfort and clear communication.
Our online booking system makes it easy to manage appointments, and we offer same-day emergency visits as well as late evening appointments on Wednesdays for Denplan and private patients.

Dr Zulfikar Alam

Dr Zulfi Alam, a Queen Mary University of London graduate (2010), is an experienced implant dentist with over 16 years of clinical practice in Birmingham. Originally from the area, he has a strong connection with local families and communities.
He provides dental implants and adult cosmetic orthodontics, including Quick Straight Teeth and Six Month Smiles, with a focus on minimally invasive, personalised care. Known for his calm, friendly approach, he helps patients feel at ease.
Outside dentistry, he enjoys football, family time, and is a lifelong Liverpool FC supporter.
Dr Ruhel Alam
Principal Dentist

Dr Ruhel Alam is the Principal Dentist at Castle Bromwich Dental Care, bringing over 20 years of experience caring for generations of local patients. A Queen Mary University of London graduate, he provides comprehensive general dentistry with a focus on Denplan care, preventative dentistry, and facial aesthetics.
Known for his calm, reassuring approach, Dr Alam builds lasting relationships with patients and families. He also mentors newly qualified dentists as an Educational Supervisor, sharing his expertise and supporting their development.
Outside dentistry, he enjoys hiking, football, squash, padel, and exploring new culinary adventures.
